| Enduromaxed to the maxx, borrowed compression socks (thanks Horatio), playlist cued up, wet Inov-8s, and ready to embark upon my fifth and last solo run of the race. Happy because the remaining miles of the levee are rumored to be (thank God) PAVED. |

| I have no idea what's in this stuff. The consumption of Enduromax carries with it a brief sense of guilt, especially when you're not tired after 30 miles of running. The guilt eventually gives way to happiness, then morphs into a craving for more Enduromax. Yeah, I don't want to know what's in this stuff. |

| 2008 Kayak Trip: hottest 2 days of the year, worst thunderstorm of the year. Grasslands 2010: torrential rainfall, temperature drop of 40 degrees, sleet, snow. Rouge/Orleans 2011: a couple of rainy days (not so bad in comparison). |
